About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Tech to join our team at Foundations Behavioral Health. As a Mental Health Tech, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and secure unit environment for all patients and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Observe, report, and record patient behaviors under the supervision of nursing staff.
  • Assist in providing a safe and secure unit environment for all patients and staff.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a human service field, including direct contact with individuals receiving services.
  • OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in a human services field.
  • Respiratory Fit testing is a requirement of the job.
