Job Summary

As a Supervisory Transportation Security Inspector with MSCCN, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the nation's transportation infrastructure and ensuring the freedom of movement for people and commerce. This position requires a high level of expertise in transportation security regulations and a strong ability to lead and manage a team of inspectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting transportation security inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with regulations and policies
  • Leading and managing a team of inspectors to ensure effective and efficient execution of security programs
  • Providing guidance and technical support to inspectors on transportation security regulations and procedures
  • Coordinating with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration on security matters
  • Developing and implementing security programs and procedures to mitigate risks and threats to transportation security
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. National
  • Secret level security clearance
  • Pre-employment drug screening and post-employment random drug and alcohol testing
  • Valid driver's license
  • Basic Transportation Security Inspections Course completion
  • Availability for on-call work and travel
Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must have one year of specialized experience in transportation security inspections and investigations, or equivalent experience in a related field. You must also have a strong understanding of transportation security regulations and policies, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
