RV Repair Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled RV Repair Technician to join our team at Blue Compass RV. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance work on RVs to ensure they are safe and reliable for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, automotive, carpentry, HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing issues on RVs
  • Document all repairs and maintenance work in a detailed and accurate manner
  • Provide labor time estimates to service advisors and plan workdays for maximum efficiency
  • Perform repairs and maintenance in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications
  • Test and verify repairs made to ensure they meet our high standards
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of trade fields such as automotive, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and maintenance
  • Certification from a college or technical school in a trade field or equivalent work experience
  • RVTI certification preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 1 year maintenance or mechanical experience preferred
  • Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive team-player attitude
  • Strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
