About the Role: TexasExec is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Lender to join our dynamic team. This position offers a remarkable opportunity for a proficient lending expert to oversee and expand a significant Commercial & Industrial (C&I) loan portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in C&I lending, particularly in managing large and intricate loan portfolios. While familiarity with Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending is appreciated, the primary emphasis for this role is on C&I lending.
Core Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Oversight: Manage and enhance a diverse portfolio of C&I loans, ensuring the utmost standards of credit quality and client satisfaction.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and sustain robust, long-term relationships with mid-market and large corporate clients, providing customized financial solutions.
- Business Growth: Propel new business development within the C&I sector by identifying and pursuing lending opportunities, utilizing your industry connections and market insights.
- Credit Evaluation: Perform thorough financial analyses and credit risk evaluations to support lending decisions, ensuring adherence to the bank's risk management protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including credit analysts and underwriters, to structure and negotiate loan terms that align with both client requirements and the bank's risk tolerance.
- Leadership Development: Mentor and guide junior lenders and credit analysts, contributing to the cultivation of a high-performing team.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years in commercial lending, with a strong focus on C&I lending. Experience in CRE lending is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related discipline. An MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA) is preferred.
Skills: Exceptional analytical and financial modeling capabilities, outstanding communication and negotiation skills, and a proven history of successful portfolio management.
Network: Established connections within the business community and a comprehensive understanding of local and regional market dynamics.
