Position Overview:
Stony Brook University's School of Medicine is seeking a qualified Rheumatologist to enhance our faculty within the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology. This role is integral to our expanding initiatives in patient care, education, and scholarly research.
The selected candidate will engage in both outpatient and inpatient care, with a significant emphasis on mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must possess an MD (or equivalent international degree) and hold board certification in Internal Medicine, along with board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred candidates will demonstrate a strong interest in clinical research focused on rheumatologic conditions.
