- Software Asset Profile: Build and maintain the software asset profile for software licenses assigned to individual users, mobile devices, laptops/workstations, and servers.
- Licensing Compliance: Ensure that the company is in compliance with software licensing agreements and regulations.
- Vendor Management: Support and interface with vendors for recurring IT infrastructure invoices and vendors.
- Data Analysis: Engage in detailed data analysis/research to validate licensing compliance, user license entitlements to ensure overall company software compliance and minimizing licensing costs.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that customer software and hardware needs are met.
- Issue Resolution: Document issue resolution using the service desk ticketing system.
- Renewal Management: Ensure that maintenance, support, and upgrade protection renewals are managed in advance of their expiration.
- Pricing Negotiation: Reviews and negotiates pricing with vendors and service providers.
- Secondary Duties: Perform secondary coverage duties related to IT procurement and other duties related to IT Asset, Maintenance & Procurement Coordinator.
- IT Licensing Audits: Respond to and complete IT licensing audits in a timely fashion.
- Process Improvement: Identify issues with existing assets and license processes and procedures and take corrective action.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT Security, Network and Systems, Applications, Customer Service and BSA teams to ensure proposed or purchased software meets business requirements.
- Process Improvement: Improve processes and tools associated with asset lifecycle management to minimize risk and cost to the organization.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business or IT technical/management or AA with 2 years' experience or 4 years equivalent related experience with extended knowledge in software/asset licensing, compliance, and tracking.
- Knowledge: Understanding of IT systems and applications.
- Vendor Management: Maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Software Asset Management: Knowledge of software asset management processes including software licensing, compliance practices and software contracts.
- Problem-Solving: Reason, plan, direct, and evaluate situations to make appropriate recommendations for the procurement of suggested products.
- Communication: Display tact and self-discipline necessary to interface effectively with coworkers, customers, vendors, and all levels of management build culture of trust.
- Time Management: Manage multiple tasks, while effectively focusing on priority issues while staying within service level agreement targets.
