Patient Service Coordinator

Liv by Advantia Health is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient experiences. Our mission is to provide personalized care and support to our patients, and we're seeking a skilled Front Desk Representative to join our team.
Estimated Salary:
$22.00-$25.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Patient Greeting and Registration: Greet patients in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner, providing any necessary instructions or directions.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Accommodate patient needs, answer questions, and inform the back office of each patient's arrival.
- Insurance Verification: Verify and update patient insurance information in the system for each visit.
- Billing and Administration: Use the computer system to generate necessary information for billing and maintain current understanding of patient medical insurance changes.
- Cash Handling and Patient Support: Collect copays, deposits, and balances, provide forms, and obtain signatures as needed.
- Communication and Triage: Answer telephones in a pleasant manner, deal with patient needs expeditiously, and process triage phone calls.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Prior experience working as a Receptionist in a Medical office preferred. Minimum of two years' experience in customer service settings, preferably six months receptionist experience in healthcare settings and experience with office equipment.
