We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Technical Service Representative to join our team at HA-INTERNATIONAL LLC. As a key member of our Technical Service team, you will play a critical role in maximizing customer commitment and driving business growth by providing hands-on technical knowledge and support for our HA-International product lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Introduction and Support: Assist with the introduction of new and/or improved products through field trials, ensuring seamless adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot existing products to resolve customer issues or complaints, utilizing your technical expertise to find effective solutions.
  • Technical Guidance and Training: Provide technology and offering recommendations to solve customer-specific problems, as well as deliver customer training classes to ensure proper and safe use of our product line.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare technical service reports and other communications for field activities, customer projects, and product improvements, ensuring timely and accurate information sharing.
Work Environment and Requirements:

This is a remote position with travel requirements, covering Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. You will be responsible for traveling within a designated territory, with occasional overnight stays and weekends. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are essential for this role.

Requirements:

  • Four-year degree in a technical or engineering field (mechanical engineering preferred).
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in a technical role within the Foundry industry (excluding IT experience).
  • Experience using lab equipment, analytical procedures, and statistical methods related to our products and applications.
  • Experience writing technical reports, including results of field tests and observations.
  • Knowledge of problem-solving techniques to address product issues and customer applications.
  • Exceptional customer relations skills, with excellent communication, written, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency with Office 365.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, around chemicals and fumes, and perform physical tasks such as standing or climbing while carrying heavy equipment (50-60 lbs.).
