We are seeking a skilled Veterinarian to join our team at the ASPCA, where you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient and population care in our shelter medicine program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide compassionate and cost-efficient veterinary care to a wide range of canines and felines in accordance with shelter medicine principles and best practices.
- Collaborate with veterinary colleagues to ensure timely recognition and planning for conditions requiring care through the ASPCA Animal Hospital.
- Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders regarding medical needs and animal flow between populations.
- Ensure that in-house and foster animals receive medical exams upon admission and are provided with ongoing care as appropriate.
- Create Certificate of Veterinary Inspections (CVI) for animals being transported interstate.
- A competitive salary range of $88,800 - $93,600, based on a 3-day/24 hour weekly schedule.

- Strong clinical skills, including efficient diagnosis and treatment of cats and dogs for a variety of medical conditions.
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
