New York, New York, United States Schwarzman Animal Medical Center Full time

The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Senior Veterinarian to join our Internal Medicine team. As a Senior Veterinarian, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of 7 boarded specialists and dedicated hospitalists, providing cutting-edge care to our patients.

Our Internal Medicine Department is fully staffed with state-of-the-art equipment for endoscopy, bronchoscopy, cystoscopy, ultrasonography, laparoscopy, and interventional radiology. You will be part of a collaborative team that works closely with the Interventional Radiology and Endoscopy Service, staffed with 2 boarded specialists.

As a Senior Veterinarian, your job will be a hybrid between outpatient clinical medicine, inpatient care, and procedures. You will also participate in oversight of residents, teaching of interns, and contribute to and participate in academic teaching rounds.

We are committed to serving our NYC community and offer multiple funding options for clientele in financial need, providing an opportunity to treat complicated cases that might otherwise be unable to access care elsewhere.

Our hospital provides a unique blend of learning, teaching, clinical medicine, and research. We are seeking clinicians who are interested in continuing to grow personally but also in investing in the growth of others.

We offer a competitive salary, generous sign-on bonus, four-day work week, comprehensive benefits, and a possibility of housing in an AMC apartment building or assistance to find housing.

Our benefits also include school loan debt forgiveness opportunity as a non-profit hospital, non-corporate practice without pressure for percentage pay, and collegial work with colleagues in a non-competitive structure with strong teaching and mentoring opportunities as well as opportunities for research.

The pay range for this position is $225,000-$275,000 USD.

We are a non-profit organization committed to delivering world-class veterinary care to help keep pet families together. Our team prides itself on delivering innovative care, research, and education.

Our prestigious postgraduate education programs attract future leaders in veterinary medicine, and the clinical research conducted at AMC has led to breakthroughs that change the way veterinary care is delivered industry-wide.

This shared commitment to learning, teaching, and innovative care creates a collegial, collaborative environment with rewarding opportunities for advancement and growth.

We are building the future of veterinary medicine at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, thanks to our transformative Gift of Love campaign to expand and enhance our clinical, educational, and research capacities.

Construction is currently underway to fully renovate the hospital, ensuring AMC is at the forefront of veterinary medicine for generations to come.
