As a Guest Service Supervisor at Global Partners, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our convenience stores. You will be responsible for supervising store operations and personnel in the absence of the store manager and assistant manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a high-quality customer experience by delivering exceptional service and ensuring a clean and safe store environment.
  • Supervise and direct employees to provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
  • Review end-of-day reports and assist in preparing daily paperwork, including banking functions as assigned by the manager.
  • Maintain awareness of cleanliness both inside and outside the store, and perform light equipment and yard maintenance as needed.
  • Order and receive merchandise utilizing inventory ordering guidelines, and implement all company promotional initiatives.
  • Maintain cash and inventory control during all supervised shifts, and perform pricebook maintenance and ordering of merchandise.
  • Audit cashier paperwork for accuracy, and report any environmental, maintenance, or unusual occurrences to the proper authority and management personnel.
  • Communicate effectively with associates and guests, and possess the ability to count, read, and write accurately to complete required tasks.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and flexibility to work weekend, holiday, and/or evening shifts.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with associates and guests.
  • Must attend mandatory meetings, including T.A.M. and sexual harassment training.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent bending, reaching, lifting of 1 to 15 lbs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
  • Reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist.
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the store.
  • Move quickly around the store.
