Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance on general aviation aircraft, including single-engine and multi-engine piston aircraft.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and avionics systems.
  • Conduct repairs on aircraft components, including engines, propellers, and landing gear.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
  • Document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
  • Verify aircraft are ready for flight and in safe operating condition before releasing them to customers.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to customers.
Requirements:
  • Must have a valid A&P Mechanic certificate.
  • Preferred 3 years of experience as a General Aviation A&P Mechanic with piston engine experience.
  • Preferred ability to demonstrate knowledge of Cessna, Beechcraft, Piper, and Cirrus aircraft.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Avionics experience is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $30 - $35 hourly for candidates with the required A&P license.
  • Candidates without an A&P license but with relevant experience may be considered at a lower pay rate of around $25 per hour.
