Job Title: Financial Examiner

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Examiner to join our team at CAPPS, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting examinations of financial institutions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct examinations of financial institutions to assess compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Identify and report any non-compliance issues to management
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address non-compliance issues
  • Collaborate with other examiners and stakeholders to ensure effective examination processes
  • Provide training and guidance to less experienced examiners
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field
  • At least six years of progressively responsible experience in the regulation, examination, and analysis of financial institutions
  • Current or former bank examiner commissioned by the FDIC, Federal Reserve, OCC, Texas Department of Banking, or another approved state banking authority
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Work experience with a financial institution and completion of graduate banking school
  • Recent supervisory experience regarding commercial bank safety and soundness risk profiling, work procedures, and issues
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English with the ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing
Working Conditions:

This position requires regular and punctual attendance, frequent use of personal computer, copiers, printers, and telephones, and frequent sitting. The position also requires at least 50% overnight travel.
