POSITION SUMMARY

The role involves the repair and maintenance of various rental machinery, necessitating travel to equipment locations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Travel to equipment sites as needed.
  • Manage all types of field service requests.
  • Disassemble machinery and assess components for wear and tear.
  • Repair, overhaul, or replace:
    • Pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings.
    • Carburetors, blowers, generators, starters, pumps, and distributors.
    • Leaking radiators.
    • Headlights, radios, heaters, mirrors, and windshield wipers.
  • Possess a working knowledge of ignition systems, lighting, and instrument panels.
  • Realign and adjust braking systems.
  • Document service activities in reports.
  • Order necessary parts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Ability to read and understand basic instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Capability to write service reports effectively.
  • Skill in presenting information clearly in both one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Mathematical proficiency in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using various units of measure.
  • Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.

COMPENSATION

Pay Range: $38.00 Hourly

Compensation is dependent on the knowledge, skills, and abilities demonstrated in performing the responsibilities of the job.
