Job SummaryWe are seeking a full-time Field Specialist/Technician to support our Integrated Facilities Solutions team in our Roseville, CA office. The ideal candidate will be trained to perform a variety of tasks, including onsite liaison, balcony inspection and drilling, and data compilation and organization.
Responsibilities- Complete and finalize specific project tasks according to deadlines and within budget
- Communicate with subject site representatives
- Compile and organize data
- Travel regularly to job sites throughout the region for single day or multiple day trips
- Conduct site reconnaissance, including sampling activities if necessary
- Communicate project progress and issues with the Project Manager
- Maintain communication with team members throughout the project
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager associated with report deliverable schedule and plan
- Identify and resolve issues with projects
- Excellent communication skills (internal and external)
- Self-starter with minimal direction to determine steps needed to complete field tasks
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
- Proven ability to deliver a quality product on time
- Satisfactory writing skills
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team
- Computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Previous field technician experience preferred
- Willingness to learn and earn appropriate certifications
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Able to travel locally to regionally 90% of the time
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the phone
- Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens
- Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. of equipment and carry to job site
The reasonably expected base salary for this role is $24-$26/hour. The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors, including skill sets, experience, and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive bonus program, which is dependent on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
