About the Job

As a Dialysis Care Professional with DaVita Inc., you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. Your primary responsibility will be to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment to patients.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in dialysis care and possess excellent communication skills. You will work closely with dialysis RNs to ensure seamless delivery of care and meet clinical outcomes. The position requires flexibility to accommodate patient needs, with an average 12-hour workday, but can vary in any combination to achieve a minimum 30-hour commitment for full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct one-on-one patient care to deliver safe and effective dialysis treatment.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
  • Collaborate with dialysis RNs to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet individual patient needs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:
  • A current Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

A background in training, teaching, or healthcare education is highly valued. Additionally, experience working in a start-up environment and improving patient lives through efficient processes and collaboration would be beneficial.
