At DaVita, Inc., we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team in a SNF setting. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in ensuring the complete ongoing care of each patient, working closely with dialysis RNs to provide high-quality dialysis treatment.

Job Summary:

As a PCT, you will be responsible for providing safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment to patients, working in conjunction with dialysis RNs to meet the needs of the service and our SNF partners. This is a per diem opportunity, and you will have the flexibility to choose your schedule to accommodate patient needs.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a PCT who is certified and has experience in dialysis care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive patient care in an independent setting, working autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
  • Collaborating with dialysis RNs and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Meeting and/or exceeding clinical outcomes, multitasking to meet the needs of the service, patients, and SNF partners.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • MUST BE CCHT certified.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
