Job Summary:

As a Shift Leader at Firehouse Subs, you will be responsible for the profitable operation of a specific shift, ensuring compliance with all company guidelines and regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Enforce all Firehouse Subs policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Monitor and control food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth to ensure profitability.
  • Provide leadership to the restaurant team, promoting superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness.
  • Assist the General Manager in coordinating and implementing current operations game plans and company initiatives.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees.
  • Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate, complete, and on schedule.
  • Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with the General Manager/Owner on any issues that may impact the business.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work on feet for up to 13 hours at a time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
