Role Summary:

We are in search of a FOIA Program Support Manager to deliver essential administrative assistance to our U.S. Government client.

Key Qualifications:

  • Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience in Information Access support.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant federal experience is required.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive FOIA support in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Review, process, and redact both routine and significant FOIA requests, complaints, and appeals.
  • Ensure timely forwarding of FOIA requests and related documentation to appropriate agencies.
  • Offer DAF eFOIA helpdesk support, addressing inquiries from users and the general public within a prompt timeframe.
  • Administer and manage the DAF eFOIA System and Public Access Link site, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Prepare necessary FOIA court documentation in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Conduct reviews and redactions of records for the DAF FOIA Website and maintain annual FOIA log reports.
  • Process DAF-wide Federal Register notices and rules in a timely manner.
  • Maintain official records and file plans, managing DAF records for Information Access Programs.
  • Track and report on audit recommendations related to DAF Information Access Programs.
  • Coordinate logistics and agendas for the annual DAF Information Access Professional Workshop.
  • Conduct Staff Assistance Visits for DAF Information Access Programs and provide detailed reports post-visit.
  • Develop process improvement plans for DAF Information Access Programs as necessary.
  • Manage requests for records disposition and submissions to the National Archive Record Agency (NARA).
  • Address inquiries related to DAF Information Access Programs efficiently.
  • Process Personally Identifiable Information (PII) breach reports in compliance with regulations.
  • Manage and report on DAF Privacy Impact Assessments and Privacy complaints.
  • Oversee the maintenance and updates of DAF Information Access Programs websites and collaboration sites.
  • Review and assess compliance with DAF Information Access Programs regulations annually.
  • Ensure timely delivery of annual reports related to Information Access Programs.

Office Hours:

  • 0800 to 1700 Monday through Friday
  • Work performed at designated locations with occasional telework opportunities.
