Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at First Connect as a High Acuity Cardiac Care Nurse Specialist. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a newly opened unit, focusing on higher acuity PCU patients.

Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Description:

The High Acuity Cardiac Care Nurse Specialist will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill patients requiring cardiac monitoring and interventions. This includes assessing patients' conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in PCU or Tele settings, with a focus on cardiac care
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and medications
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Shifts & Scheduling:

The High Acuity Cardiac Care Nurse Specialist will work 7-7 shifts, rotating between days and nights. Self-scheduling is available, with some flexibility required to accommodate staffing needs.

Weekend Requirements: 4-6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays

Holiday Requirements: May be asked to participate in holiday rotations

Floating Requirements: Will be assigned to other units as needed, within their skillset and area of expertise

Dress Code: Navy blue scrub attire

Orientation: 1-day HR orientation, 1-day educator-led orientation, and 1-2 shifts with a preceptor
