Job Summary

As an Applications Analyst IV at Hackensack Meridian Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and support of healthcare technology solutions. This position requires a strong background in IT, with a focus on radiology and cardiology PACS systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct business requirements gathering and needs assessments to develop functional specifications and build information technology solutions that support business objectives.
  • Work independently and act as a resource for lower-level Application Analysts, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and maintain clear, concise documentation to ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other team members across the department to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Provide on-call support for applications and participate in the coordination of end-user support activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of IT experience, preferably in healthcare or a related field.
  • Expert knowledge of subject matter, including radiology and cardiology PACS systems.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate the actions of small groups to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Strong desktop skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Epic and/or other relevant certification(s) or where applicable, other relevant applications experience.
