About the Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Sidney, NY.

The successful candidate will support the Accounting Manager in various areas, including Fixed Asset accounting, American Express expense reconciliations, Intercompany reporting, and month-end journal entry processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly Journal Entry summarized American Express Corporate Card activity, including auditing account codes and departments.
  • Send out monthly American Express spending details for Management Approval.
  • Reconcile and track Capital Spending by Project and report results to Management team.
  • Prepare and enter Journal entries into the General Ledger each month.
  • Perform month-end reconciliations of Intercompany accounts for Corporate Reporting.
  • Work with AR and AP teams on Intercompany expense chargebacks.
  • Assist with the preparation of data for annual Insurance renewal and tax package.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
  • Analyze cost trends to predict future expenses.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with 3-8 years of accounting experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Financial analysis, computer competence, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and aptitude with organization and multitasking.
  • Physical demands of the job include sitting and data entry on a daily basis.
