As a Part-Time Family Engagement Specialist, you will have the opportunity to design a flexible timetable that accommodates evenings and weekends, facilitating visits in various settings including client homes, community locations, or our offices.

This role supports families whose children have been placed in the child welfare system due to concerns of abuse or neglect.

During these supervised interactions, you will employ a trauma-informed approach to deliver engaging parenting skills training, psycho-educational support aimed at strengthening family bonds, and immediate guidance and coaching for parents to encourage safe and effective reunification.

Your responsibilities will include advocating for families, collaborating with caseworkers to set goals, documenting progress, reporting any concerns regarding alleged abuse or neglect, testifying in court when necessary, and providing transportation as required by referrals.

Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Experience with children, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and a solid understanding of child development and the child welfare system
- Proficiency in using and creating Excel spreadsheets
