Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Responsibility Manager to join our team at Best Buy. As a key member of our Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability (CR&S) team, you will be responsible for managing and executing our external CR&S reporting efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Best Buy's corporate responsibility reporting strategy, ensuring alignment with our enterprise purpose and stakeholder expectations.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of creating and publishing CR&S reports, including the Annual Report, to educate stakeholders about our CR&S initiatives and progress.
  • Project manage the timeline, stakeholder outreach, and content development of the CR&S report, including writing sections, data validation coordination, and leadership review process.
  • Partner with key teams and Controllership on regulatory reporting and disclosures, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Lead the team to deliver against all external data requests, including ratings, rankings, award applications, lists, and surveys.
  • Set expectations on external benchmarking and research requests, including ad hoc requests from leadership and partner teams.
  • Support board and leadership updates, as well as future CR&S strategy development, implementation, and governance.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in Corporate Responsibility, Sustainability, or ESG-related corporate efforts.
  • 4 years of strong written and oral communication skills, preferably in the CR&S space.
  • 4 years of proven experience and ability to project manage complex timelines and a large array of stakeholders, internal and external.
  • Strong understanding and proven management of external stakeholders related to private sector responsible business.
  • Ability to interface with multiple levels of the organization and communicate effectively both verbally and written.
  • Ability to quickly and effectively build relationships at all levels of the organization.
