Job Title: Physical Therapist

Theracare is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to deliver exceptional care and enthusiasm in working with our adult population in both Skilled Nursing and Home Health Care settings.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with physician orders, through the use of various therapeutic procedures designed to restore loss of muscle strength, coordination, body alignment, relieve pain, improve movement, and function.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with physician orders
  • Use various therapeutic procedures to restore loss of muscle strength, coordination, body alignment, relieve pain, improve movement, and function
  • Work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Physical Therapy
  • Provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, or Home Health Care
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current state license/certification
  • Current registration with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board
  • Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to provide therapy services in various locations
  • Demonstrate competency in applying principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
