About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Foundation Health, LLC. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in the collection and processing of patient specimens, ensuring accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process patient specimens, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Perform registration processes, including collecting insurance information and verifying patient demographics.
  • Enter data into appropriate systems to ensure accurate documentation and billing.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, clinical and hospital staff, and nursing and Health Information Management Services to resolve outstanding issues and/or patient concerns.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and a clean, safe work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
  • Completed a Phlebotomy course or be in the process of completion, or possess the on-the-job training (OJT) equivalent.
  • BLS certification required upon hire.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience of at least six months in a clinical laboratory setting or completion of phlebotomy school.
  • Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
