Preschool Teacher

Join our team at Early Learning Essentials, a non-profit Head Start organization dedicated to providing high-quality preschool, health, and social services to children and families in need.

We are seeking a qualified Preschool Double Session Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Double Session Teacher, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive educational services to preschool children, including those with Individualized Education Plans (IEP), behavioral support or health plans, and English language learners.

• Deliver developmentally appropriate learning activities to preschool children in assigned classrooms.
• Provide instruction, supervision, and support to children with diverse needs.
• Collaborate with Assistant Teachers, Classroom Aides, and Bus Monitors to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the Head Start Performance Standards and Early Learning Essentials' policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and community groups to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) from a recognized institution.
• OR equivalent coursework and experience teaching preschool children.
• Official or unofficial transcript showing the award or confer date of the degree.
• Desirable qualifications include a Bachelor's or advanced degree in ECE or a related field.

$22.39/hour - AA in ECE or related field

$23.50/hour - BA in ECE or related field
