About the Role

Total Beverage Solution is seeking a highly skilled Graphic Marketing Specialist to join our team in Charleston, SC. As a key member of our Marketing and Sales team, you will be responsible for developing and creating graphic design materials for our wine and spirits portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop trade plans with the Brand Team to target key consumers and drive ROS.
  • Create print and digital collateral based on current and emerging creative industry trends that align with Wine and Spirits branding and standards.
  • Support Total Beverage Solution Brand Managers and sales team members for all brand-related campaigns, events, and overarching marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with advertising agency on copywriting as needed; maintain a partnership with the agency to collaborate on projects and ensure brand consistency.
  • Ensure all programming is vetted, legally approved, and compliant with marketing policies.
  • Provide options and willingly iterate to achieve brand vision and tone.
  • Occasionally review and provide input into the work of outside graphic designers.
  • Monitor, report, and manage the effectiveness of the program items.
  • Proactively execute projects as outlined by business unit and company goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Art Design, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or related discipline or any equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 0-2+ years' experience as a production artist or creative designer preferred.
  • Graphic design and production experience within an agency or in-house firm is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite applications in a Mac environment.
  • Basic HTML5, CSS3, WordPress, Java Script.
  • Proficiency in print and digital production.
  • Knowledge of common design principles, print production and mechanical standards/portfolio required.
  • Ability to present and explain ideas to creative manager and marketing department in a confident manner.
  • Knowledge of pre-press and print production.
  • Ability to take initiative and collaborate.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work on schedule or preferably one to three months in advance.
  • Strong layout skills and an experienced eye for color and typography.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate well with the general public and experience in establishing and maintaining an effective working relationship with management, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Candidate must be based in Charleston, SC area.
  • Creative outside-the-box thinker with the ability to bring brands and campaigns to life creatively.
  • Clear communicator.
