About the Job
As a Field Technician with Cable ONE, you will be responsible for installing customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties. You will also use electronic test equipment and online diagnostic tools to troubleshoot customer service drops or outlets, diagnose and repair reception performance issues, and resolve problems from the customer's equipment to the output of the first distribution amplifier.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect customers to what they love by installing customer service drops or outlets in both residential and business properties.
- Troubleshoot customer service drops or outlets using electronic test equipment and online diagnostic tools.
- Diagnose and repair reception performance issues.
- Resolve problems from the customer's equipment to the output of the first distribution amplifier.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A good driving record and a valid driver's license in the state you are applying.
- Flexibility to work overtime and on-call as needed.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to listen to customers and present solutions in a positive manner.
- Ability to work in small and confined areas, lift up to 80 lbs., work on a ladder, and work in all weather conditions.
- Demonstrated customer service or related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
