Overview of the Industrial Mechanic Role:

Compensation for the Industrial Mechanic:
$21-$25/hour, with payments made WEEKLY. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Align machines and equipment using various tools and instruments.
  • Repair and lubricate machinery and equipment.
  • Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools.
  • Construct foundations for machines using appropriate materials.
  • Position steel beams to support machinery according to blueprints.
  • Dismantle machines and other equipment as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality assurance programs.

Regular attendance and the ability to work overtime are required.



Qualifications for the Industrial Mechanic:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role is required. Candidates must possess all necessary hand tools and have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and layout plans. Proficiency with precision instruments for setting and aligning equipment is essential. A welding certification is preferred.

Physical Demands of the Role:

Must be capable of lifting over 50 pounds frequently and climbing heights exceeding 300 feet. This position requires extensive bending, stooping, and the ability to carry, push, and pull weights up to 100 pounds.

Candidates should be able to tolerate temperature variations, loud and dusty environments, and exposure to high voltage electromagnetic fields.

This role is classified as safety-sensitive.
