We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Faculty Member to join our Physical Therapy Department at West Coast University. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Curriculum Development: Fulfill assigned teaching load and participate in the development and assessment of courses and curriculum.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our programs through assessment and evaluation activities.
- Professional Development: Regularly contribute to the improvement and upgrading of class materials and syllabi.
- Student Support: Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to individual students' success.
- Education: Terminal degree preferred, but consideration will be given to those enrolled in a terminal degree program.
- Certifications and Licensure: Must meet and maintain the qualifications and standards set forth by any accreditation body that West Coast University is accredited by or in process of obtaining accreditation from, for area of expertise and expectations of faculty member as set forth in regulatory documents.
- Experience: 0-4 years of teaching in a University (or College) setting or previous rank of assistant professor awarded by a regionally accredited institution.
- Skills and Knowledge: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS office products as needed. Knowledge of state, federal, and local laws/regulations relating to programs, governmental compliance, and other regulatory standards.
