About the Role:
West Coast University is seeking a dedicated and passionate Faculty Member to join our team of educators in the field of Physical Therapy. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Teach and mentor students in the field of Physical Therapy, ensuring they meet the highest standards of academic excellence.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and effective in preparing students for their future careers.
- Participate in assessment and evaluation activities, providing feedback to students and contributing to the continuous improvement of our programs.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning, as well as advancements in the field of Physical Therapy.
Requirements:
- Terminal degree in Physical Therapy or a related field (or currently enrolled in a terminal degree program).
- 0-4 years of teaching experience in a university or college setting (or previous rank of assistant professor awarded by a regionally accredited institution).
- Must meet and maintain the qualifications and standards set forth by any accreditation body that West Coast University is accredited by or in process of obtaining accreditation from, for area of expertise and expectations of faculty member as set forth in regulatory documents.
- Must be licensed to practice physical therapy in California (if physical therapist).
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary range of $95,000 - $138,553.54 per year.
