Fondomonte California LLC is seeking skilled Automotive Mechanics/Technicians to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the stability and efficiency of our farming operation.
We are a vertically integrated farm that includes growing, harvesting, and exporting forage products. Our goal is to innovate the industry by providing high-quality products while building customer confidence, trust, and reliability.

The estimated salary for this position is $22-$28 per hour, depending on experience.
About the Role- Maintain, inspect, and repair equipment to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Detect and diagnose electrical or mechanical malfunctions or failures of equipment or systems, repairing or replacing defective components as needed.
- Inspect the mechanical operation and functionality of various equipment, including cultivation, transportation, trucks, loaders, light vehicles, tractors, harvesting, pumping, well equipment, and generators.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and adjustments (fluid levels, hoses, brakes, tires, and clutches), change filters and oil, and weld as necessary.
- Overhaul equipment as directed by the workshop/maintenance manager.
- Ensure machinery hours, parts consumed, and work carried out are accurately recorded.
- Assist with system startups and operational checkouts on systems, including configuration, wiring, calibration, grounding, and power testing.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, consulting blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as needed.
- Support documentation for existing and new equipment, control, and building power system installations.
- Perform all work safely and in accordance with safety and environmental policies.
