Cardiac Sonographer Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at National Jewish Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms to assist physicians in diagnosing cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform echocardiograms in accordance with ARDMS and IAC standards
  • Prepare and complete required documentation in a thorough and accurate manner
  • Initiate times to read exams with cardiologists to elicit feedback and quality improvement
  • Operate and maintain equipment in accordance with hospital and department safety policy and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement processes and assist with IAC compliance
Requirements:
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • High school diploma/GED and successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
  • BLS required
