The Senior Information Technology Administrator will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the organization’s IT infrastructure.

  • Deliver technical assistance to computer operations and programming teams.
  • Act as a resource for staff and provide user support as needed.
  • Maintain schedules for system backups, server upkeep, system logs, and disaster recovery protocols.
  • Assess new software application packages to meet organizational requirements.
  • Administer system maintenance for software packages, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Educate and assist end-users on various software applications.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Unified Communication equipment (desk phones, softphones, VOIP gateways, VOIP-enabled devices).
  • Set up and maintain computer hardware and software.
  • Address daily issues, user inquiries, and technical problems.
  • Keep accurate and timely records of equipment inventory.
  • Execute hardware upgrades and related tasks.
  • Assist in the relocation of existing equipment.
  • Support the distribution of new equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent experience in network administration and support.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in network and system administration.
  • Preferred IT certifications include:
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
  • Nimble Storage Installer and Operator Professional (NIOP)
  • Experience with Storage Area Network (SAN) technologies.
  • Familiarity with virtualization and cloud computing platforms.
  • Experience with Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) systems.
  • Knowledge of Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) solutions.
  • Experience with Cybersecurity systems.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server versions and Active Directory infrastructures.
  • Familiarity with Exchange Server versions and Exchange Online Office 365.
  • Knowledge of Cisco routing and switching protocols.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based wireless network management systems.
  • Proficient in the latest versions of Microsoft Office and Windows.
  • Demonstrated experience with network cabling.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive demeanor.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs. and access confined spaces.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
