Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team at DHD Consulting. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and financial tasks, including general ledger operations, monthly closings, and financial statement preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete general ledger operations, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts, including cash, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Draw up monthly financial reports and analysis of accounts as requested
  • Assist with yearend closings, including preparation of year-end financial statements and tax returns
  • Administer and oversee accounts payable, including processing invoices and payments
  • Prepare local tax computations and returns
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
  • Monitor and resolve bank issues, including fee anomalies and check differences
  • Account/bank reconciliations
  • Review and process expense reports
  • Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
Requirements
  • Fluency in Korean, including writing skills, a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
  • Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, and data analysis
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately
  • Advanced level with MS Word and Excel
  • SAP Business 1 knowledge preferred
  • Must be able to follow standard filing procedures
  • Ability to type 50 wpm; advanced level 10 Key
  • Experience in a surfaces manufacturing environment preferred
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA
Physical Requirements
