Project Manager Finance Job Description

Apex Systems is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Finance to join our team in Washington, DC. As a Project Manager Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing financial and procurement services, ensuring processes and procedures are followed, and managing a small team of financial analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial and procurement services, including financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and procedures.
  • Manage a small team of financial analysts, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Perform quality assurance to ensure high-quality work delivered on time.
  • Train staff on entering and updating data in proprietary databases.

Requirements:

  • At least four years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience in financial systems.
  • Proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical support activities simultaneously.
  • Expert knowledge of finance systems, including SAS, and excellent writing and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the government's data processing environment, including office automation networks, PC-based databases, and internet and server-based databases.
  • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
  • Must have an undergraduate degree.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Law degree desirable.
