Job Title: Wellness Attendant

At Carolina Country Club, we are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Wellness Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our fitness services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and their families.

Job Summary:

The Wellness Attendant will be responsible for promoting the use of our fitness facilities, enforcing safety and security policies, and embodying the Carolina Country Club Employee Mission and Absolutes. This individual will work closely with our Wellness Director to ensure the smooth operation of our fitness department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct administrative duties, cleaning, and scheduling to ensure the efficient operation of our fitness department.
  • Assist the Wellness Director with supplies and orders, monitoring for waste or theft of supplies.
  • Receive and handle complaints regarding the fitness department, communicating with the Director as needed.
  • Inform and follow through with housekeeping and engineering departments regarding problems or deficiencies in the fitness areas.
  • Inspect locker areas and manage locker room facilities.
  • Plan programs according to the monthly and yearly calendar.
  • Complete assignments made by the Wellness Director and Assistant Directors.
  • Perform miscellaneous office responsibilities.
  • Complete required computer-based training in the required time frame.
  • Use the Member Name Game and participate in contests as a learning tool.
  • Be responsible for knowing CCC Employee Policies and working by the CCC Mission Statement.
Qualifications:
  • Have a passion and ability to work with people of all ages, including children, with safety and security as the most important dynamic.
  • Be flexible, enthusiastic, patient, friendly, and understanding.
  • Be capable of lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
  • Be able to stand and maneuver independently and safely around work areas.
  • Have excellent communication skills, with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Be organized, efficient, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Be able to get along well with others and demonstrate a high level of sensitivity and interest in people and children.
