We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Manager to join our team at Givaudan's Carol Stream site in Illinois. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for directing and supporting the management of all environmental, health, and safety functions in compliance with our EHS policies and processes, as well as all applicable EHS regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Support and advise site management on all EHS aspects, ensuring that EHS becomes and remains a line responsibility.
- Deploy EHS vision aligned with company strategy for the site, taking into account both the OPS/EHS Global strategy and programs and the local legislation.
- Manage compliance with all EHS Regulations.
- Responsible for all Site EHS trainings for our employees and contractors.
- Deploy behavior-based safety programs.
- Ensure safety and Health programs are strictly implemented.
- Ensure emergency planning is effective.
- Complete and submit regulatory reports.
- Ensure KPI reporting is complete and initiate actions to move towards the agreed targets.
- Track site safety behavioral audits and incidents, analyze trends on audits, incidents, and near-miss reports, and report same to management team.
- Lead the "employee safety committee" to promote safety awareness and improve the safety of the site by leading issues identified to closure.
- Manage all hazardous and non-hazardous waste activities.
- Manage all documentation required.
- Maintain good relationships with relevant external partners (authorities, communities, or networks).
- Be a primary contact for Federal, State, and local EHS regulatory agencies.
- Be the main point of contact with other departments. Regulatory, IT, and regional Management Team.
- Fluent English.
- Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control, Root Cause Analysis.
- Process Safety Management.
- Audit.
- H+S Management.
- Emergency Management.
- Healthcare Plan: Medical, Dental, Vision.
