Maintenance Technician Supervisor

Mental Health Cooperative is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our maintenance department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating systems and facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate systems and facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed
  • Assess building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules
  • Develop maintenance procedures and schedules
  • Responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of MHC facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing systems and fixtures, painting, sheet rocking, electrical items and electrical equipment
  • Responsible for preventive maintenance, including changing light bulbs, cleaning sidewalks, etc.
  • Oversee internal ticket system and assign tickets accordingly
  • Ability to serve as safety coordinator
  • Responsible for monthly checklist reviews of each MHC facility, including follow-up maintenance needs
  • Responsible for coordinating vendor installations and repairs as needed
  • Meet with Life Safety vendors as needed for inspections of equipment
  • Maintain knowledge of pertaining regulatory standards and codes
  • Maintain knowledge of life safety codes
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2 to 5 years' experience preferred in commercial building maintenance
  • Valid Tennessee Driver's License
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • Acceptable Criminal Background Investigation
  • Personal Automobile Insurance
