Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Executive Administrative Assistant to join our team at Blood Bank of Alaska, Inc. in Anchorage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide executive-level administrative support to the Director of Human Resources and CEO.
  • Fulfill duties as a Travel Coordinator and BBA Fund Development representative.
  • Assist other departments as trained and requested.
Work Environment:

This position requires working in a fast-paced office environment with occasional exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials. We follow OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standards to ensure a safe work environment.

Requirements:Education:
  • High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree in a related field preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an executive office environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Notary Public certification is highly desirable.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The benefits package includes 401(k) matching, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and paid time off.
