This role reports directly to the Administrator and encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including food procurement, meal preparation, financial management, safety protocols, and menu planning.

  • Preferred qualifications include Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification or a degree in Nutrition, Food Service Management, or Hospitality.
  • Proficiency in food service and restaurant management.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with team members and other departments.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Understanding of geriatric dietary needs and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Experience in menu design, food safety practices, and sanitation protocols.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of diverse meal service methods.
  • Excellent organizational skills, record-keeping proficiency, and basic computer literacy.
