Production Cell Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Cell Leader to join our team at Ontic, a leading global aerospace OEM. As a Production Cell Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of production operations, meeting or exceeding daily production output targets, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign tasks and manage workload to meet or exceed daily production output targets, including developing technician shift schedules.
- Attend daily production meetings and accurately report on production cell work status.
- Effectively communicate production challenges and ensure performance metrics (KPIs) are monitored, managed, and achieved daily.
- Build and maintain successful relationships with customers, both internal and external, to ensure the production cell team is fully equipped and supported to deliver against production targets.
- Conduct competency audits for technicians' "on the job training" and ensure adherence to the company's quality management system through unannounced audits.
- Support the Operations Manager by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement activities that could minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of resources, materials, equipment, and facilities.
- Education: General knowledge equivalent to high school education.
- Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry assembling and testing hydraulic pumps, valves, AC/DC motors, and electro-mechanical actuators.
- Proficiency with Oscilloscopes, DMM, VOM, Curve Tracers, power supplies, and related equipment.
- Ability to work from engineering prints, specifications, and/or electrical/electronic schematics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
