Job Overview

The Property Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of residential units and common areas. Key responsibilities include:

  • Efficiently completing maintenance requests and special projects
  • Addressing plumbing and electrical service needs
  • Executing apartment turnovers in a customer-focused manner
  • Identifying issues and performing repairs in electrical systems
  • Responding promptly to service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by management
  • Maintaining the property's exterior to uphold a clean and inviting appearance
  • Carrying out housekeeping tasks as necessary, including snow removal during winter
  • Managing maintenance of pools, spas, and related areas when applicable
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems
  • 1-2 years of experience in multifamily housing or the hospitality sector preferred
  • Strong customer service abilities and basic computer skills
  • Proficient in plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, and painting
  • Certifications in plumbing, contracting, or building trades are advantageous
  • Availability for on-call duties and flexibility to work weekends as needed
