Job Description

Overview
Hire Talent is seeking a skilled Quality Technician II to join our team. As a Quality Technician II, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by performing inspections, tests, and analyses of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.

Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections, tests, and analyses of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Compile, verify, and review Device History Records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform pre-sterile and post-sterile inspection of products according to procedure.
  • Inspect and release raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished devices according to procedure.
  • Document Non-Conforming Reports as needed and participate in investigations.
  • Conduct internal audits and complete first article inspections.
  • Collaborate with engineering and machine shop staff on the design of measurement gages and holding fixtures.
  • Assist Product Engineering Department in the evaluation of prototype components.
  • Execute gage R&R studies on measurement instruments and CMM holding fixtures.
  • Maintain and update Quality system documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • High school diploma
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • Basic job knowledge of systems, techniques, and procedures

Work Environment
This is a full-time position that requires working on-site at our Dexter MI Site. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with moderate supervision and perform technical tasks that are typically routine.
