Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

Job Summary:
AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic services, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic services, including computed tomography scans
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as CT scanners and radiographic machines
  • Position patients and immobilize them as necessary
  • Calculate exposure factors and practice radiation protection
  • Evaluate radiographs for technical quality and ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Assume care for physical and psychological needs of patients during examinations and procedures
  • Practice aseptic technique and assist physicians with administration of contrast media
  • Recognize signs and symptoms of emergencies and initiate life support measures as needed
  • Assume responsibility for assigned areas, including maintaining IV skills and contributing to patient records
  • Provide input for equipment and supply purchase decisions and instruct students in radiography programs
  • Assume acting supervisory responsibilities and participate in quality assurance programs

Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist
  • MO license required
