Gpac is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator and Project Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Estimation: Oversee and review project plans, requirements, and specifications to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.
  • Team Leadership: Demonstrate leadership ability to coordinate a team to develop large multi-disciplinary estimates, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Cost Management: Determine labor and equipment costs, prepare accurate quantity takeoffs, and materials pricing to ensure project profitability.
  • Project Logistics and Scheduling: Understand project logistics and project schedule to ensure seamless execution.
  • Risk Assessment: Understand all bid documents and assess project risks to mitigate potential issues.
  • Estimate Review and Presentation: Review quotes and estimates with the project team and prepare estimates for different levels of completion.
  • Pre-Construction and Client Interface: Orchestrate pre-construction duties and meetings with owners, clients, and engineers, serving as the company interface between owner and architect.
  • Leadership and Communication: Develop leadership, motivation, and communication skills to effectively manage owners, subcontractors, and project teams.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience working on large multi-million-dollar projects exceeding $25 million dollars.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced computer skills with estimating software, effective presentation skills, and advanced computer skills with MS Office.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Extensive knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles, understanding of all aspects of horizontal and infrastructure projects.
