Position Overview

Step into a remarkable role as a Reservations Specialist across [properties], where your responsibilities extend beyond mere bookings, transforming into a captivating blend of hospitality and service excellence. As the architect of reservations for multiple properties, you will curate a unique experience for our esteemed guests across various locations. Your dedication to quality will be evident in every reservation, ensuring it reflects the distinct luxury of each property. With poise and professionalism, you will guide our guests through a world of refined options, turning reservations into the perfect prelude to memorable stays.
  • Delivering a sincere, informative, and personalized guest reservation experience by accurately entering guest contact details and enhancing guest history with previous stays, special occasions, preferences, and other relevant information.
  • Addressing guest inquiries related to room bookings, availability, general accommodation questions, pricing, and promotional offers.
  • Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of the resorts, including:
    • All facilities/services available and their operational hours
    • All accommodation types, layouts, decor, attributes, and locations
    • All pricing structures, special packages, and promotions
    • All spa services and treatments, including their benefits and costs
    • Daily statistics, including availability
    • Scheduled entertainment and special events on-site and in the vicinity
    • Directions to the resort from airports and major landmarks
    • General information, descriptions, and directions for local services, dining, wineries, and attractions.
  • Facilitating effective resolution of guest challenges by collaborating closely with fellow service team members and other departments to address any issues, ensuring follow-through and exceeding guest expectations whenever possible.
  • Ensuring accurate and efficient execution of all billing and financial transactions on behalf of guests.
  • Promoting services and offerings as appropriate, ensuring that each guest is well-informed about the resort's amenities.
The starting pay rate for this position is $17.00 per hour plus incentives. This is the anticipated pay rate for this role, with individual compensation determined by various factors, including experience and education.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years in a hospitality, spa, or reservations role, preferably within a luxury resort environment.
  • Proficient in crafting professional business correspondence.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and sales skills, with a pleasant phone demeanor and the ability to engage positively with every guest.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and colleagues as part of a cohesive team.
