Job Summary:

As an Electrical Supervisor with Bechtel Oil, Gas & Chemicals Incorporated, you will lead a team and supervise electrical professionals on a major infrastructure project. Your primary responsibility will be to direct electrical activities and work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed within specifications, schedules, and budgets.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and/or direct electrical activities as assigned.
  • Schedule work to be performed and review work accomplished by each electrical professional.
Planning and Productivity:
  • Determine workforce requirements.
  • Coordinate established area operational plans.
  • Monitor tool and equipment usage on the site.
  • Oversee the preparation of Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables.
Safety and Quality:
  • Ensure that all electrical work is completed in accordance with current design documents and approved design changes.
  • Ensure that assigned construction operations and subcontractors' performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.
Technical:
  • Work with Construction Field Engineers, Leading Hands, and Electrical Professionals in interpreting engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents.
  • Oversee engineering solutions with Subcontractors, Leading Hands, and Electrical Professionals.
Requirements:
  • Requires a WA electrical license and 6-8 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role, in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Experience in permit preparation and Lock Out/Tag Out is essential.
Additional Information:

This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include:

  • Extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site.
  • Climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms, including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs).
  • Use of personal fall arrest equipment.
  • Walking and working on uneven surfaces.
  • Variable work shifts.
  • Work in inclement weather.

Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task.
