Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse Ortho

Mission Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing personalized care to patients with orthopedic conditions. You will work closely with medical providers and the care team to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration.
  • Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program, with a BSN within 5 years of hire date.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing, with eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply.
  • Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider.
  • One year of hospital experience.
